Install the Chrome extension
Add HandRaise to Chrome, sign in, and give it the microphone and DataSift once.
The extension is your phone in Chrome. It opens as a panel on the right side of the page, next to DataSift. You need Chrome 116 or newer.
Install and sign in
- Add HandRaise to Chrome from the link our team sends you.
- Click the puzzle piece in the Chrome toolbar and pin HandRaise, so it's always one click away.
- Click the HandRaise icon. The panel opens on the right.
- Enter your Email and Password, then click Sign in.
Everything in this Chrome shares one sign-in. Sign out in one place and it signs out everywhere in that Chrome.
Allow the microphone
- When the panel says Chrome needs one-time permission to use your microphone., click Allow.
- A tab opens. Click Allow microphone, then Allow when Chrome asks.
- You'll see Done. You can close this tab and go back to the phone. The tab closes by itself.
Chrome asks once. If it says it blocked the microphone, see Fix the microphone.
Let it open on DataSift
If the panel asks Let the phone open by itself on DataSift?, click Allow. That lets HandRaise show up on your DataSift tab when a call rings and put Call icons on DataSift pages. See Chrome site access.
Check the line
Open Settings in the panel. Under Connection, Phone line should say Ready.
The extension looks out of date? Go to chrome://extensions and click the reload arrow on HandRaise.
