Connect DataSift

HandRaise reads and writes your DataSift records with your DataSift API key. Our team connects it with you during setup, so nothing needs to be typed into HandRaise.

Connect it

1. During setup, our team asks you for your DataSift API key. Send it only to our team, the same way you'd share a password.
2. Our team connects it to your HandRaise account.
3. Open Settings, then Prospecting folders, and turn on the filter presets you dial.
4. Open Settings, then Lead Management folders, and turn on the lead statuses you follow up.

Your folders are the same in Chrome and on the iPhone.

What HandRaise reads

• Your filter presets, as folders, and the records in them.
• Each record's numbers, statuses, open tasks and Assigned To.
• Your lead statuses and your DataSift users, to match your team.

What HandRaise writes

• Each number's result: Correct, No Answer, Wrong, Dead or DNC.
• Call attempts, one per pass through a record.
• The record's status, when you pick one after a call.
• Your call notes.

HandRaise reads each save back from DataSift to make sure it landed. See Call results and what they change in DataSift.

Match your team

In the dashboard, open Team. Each card has a DataSift user, matched by email. If someone's DataSift email is different, pick the right user from the list. Until they're linked, their apps say Your DataSift user isn't linked yet. Ask the owner to link it in Team.
