Answering
On your main line, answering picks up the calls you miss, learns about the seller and books your callback.
On your main line, answering can pick up instead of voicemail. It talks with the caller the way someone at your company would, learns about the property and books a time for you to call them back.
Turn it on
- In the dashboard, open Numbers and click your main line.
- Under Answering, pick When I miss it or Always.
- Give it a first name if you like. Without one, it greets callers with your company name.
- Pick its Voice. Every voice on the list costs the same.
When I miss it picks up when nobody answers, and after your business hours. Always picks up every call. Only a number set to Main line can answer, and your voicemail stays as the backup.
On the call
- If the caller's number is on a DataSift record, it already knows their name and property.
- It asks about the property, its condition, why they're selling, their timeline and their price.
- It books your callback on a weekday between 9 AM and 7 PM.
- Buyers, agents and vendors get their message taken.
- It never quotes an offer or makes a promise. If someone asks whether they're talking to a real person, it tells them it's an automated assistant and offers your callback.
A seller who wants to talk now
During callback hours it tries your cell once. You hear who it is before you take the call. If you don't, it books the callback.
After the call
- You get a text with three lines: who called, what's going on, and the callback time.
- The call shows in Recents and Voicemail with the summary, the transcript and the recording.
- A caller on a DataSift record gets a call note and a task at the callback time.
- Someone who hangs up on the greeting gets your missed-call text, like any missed call.
